This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies tresbizz.com uses, why we use them, how long they stay on your device and how you can control them. It is part of our privacy policy, which also names the TresBizz company responsible for your data and explains your rights.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. When you return, the website can read the cookie again. Cookies make it possible, for example, to keep products in your shopping cart while you browse, to keep you logged in and to remember your choices.
We also use similar technologies that work in the same way, such as local storage in your browser, scripts that measure how a page is used and small images (pixels) in emails that show whether a message was opened. In this policy "cookies" includes these technologies.

We group cookies by purpose into four categories: strictly necessary, preferences, analytics and marketing.
Your choice and the law
Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the shop, the checkout, your account and the security of the website cannot work without them. They do not require consent.
Other cookies are only placed after you give consent where the law of your country requires this, as in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. In other regions, such as many US states, you have the right to opt out of certain cookies, for example cookies used for targeted advertising. We respect browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control where the law requires it.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on our website or by deleting cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.

How we use analytics
Google Analytics helps us understand how many people visit our website, which pages they view, how long they stay and how they found us. Google Tag Manager is a tool that loads such measurement scripts on our pages; it does not analyse your behaviour itself. Crazy Egg shows us heatmaps of where visitors click and how far they scroll, so we can see which parts of a page are useful and which are not.
We use analytics results only in aggregated form to improve our website, our product pages and our offer. We do not use analytics to identify you personally, and we do not combine analytics data with your customer account.
What happens if you refuse cookies
If you refuse analytics and marketing cookies, you can still use our website and shop in full. We simply do not count your visit in our statistics and do not personalise our communication. If you block strictly necessary cookies in your browser, some functions will stop working, such as the cart, the checkout, logging in and spam protection on forms.
How long your choice is stored
We store your cookie choice for 12 months in a small cookie on your device. After that, or after an important change to the cookies we use, we ask you again. If you delete your cookies, we will also ask again on your next visit, because we can no longer see your earlier choice.

Do Not Track and privacy signals
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. There is no common standard for Do Not Track, so our website does not respond to it automatically. Where the law treats Global Privacy Control as a valid opt-out request, we honour it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Emails and tracking pixels
Our newsletters may contain a small pixel and tracked links that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This helps us send fewer and more relevant emails. You can avoid this by unsubscribing, or by blocking images in your email program.
Embedded content and social media
Our website links to our pages on LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. These are normal links and do not place cookies until you click them. If we embed videos or other content from third parties in the future, we will load them only after you give consent where this is required, and we will add them to this policy.
Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies in their settings, and many offer a private mode that deletes cookies when you close the window. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the cart, checkout and your account will not work.

Third-party providers
Third-party providers process cookie data under their own privacy policies. Some of them, such as Google, may process data in the United States. Where required, these transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in our privacy policy.
Other TresBizz websites
Other TresBizz websites, such as our reseller portal, may use their own cookies. Where they do, they have their own cookie information or link to this policy with an overview of the cookies used.
Changes and contact
