Key features
- Full image backup and file backup
- Disk cloning, for instance onto a new SSD
- Bootable rescue media
- Lifetime licence with no recurring fees
- Versions for Windows and Mac
Who it suits
This edition is for home users and small setups who want to keep control of their own data without a subscription. You pay once and save your backups to an external drive, a NAS or a USB stick. It is a sensible choice for the family computer, a student laptop or a home office desk.
Disk cloning is handy when you replace a drive or a computer: the system, programs and settings move to the new drive without reinstalling everything. If Windows or macOS stops booting, the bootable rescue media lets you bring a backup back.
Please note that the licence does not include cloud storage. Your backups are saved to the drives you choose.
The five-device option covers several machines in one purchase, while a single laptop owner can simply pick the one-device licence.

You only choose the number of devices. The term is always lifetime, so there is no yearly renewal to remember.
