If you are a freelancer, trader or professional with business income that must be reported to the German tax office, WISO EÜR & Kasse 2026 provides dedicated bookkeeping tools for the German tax system. Important: this is German-language software for German tax filings only. It is useful exclusively for individuals and businesses that must file with the German tax office. It does not prepare or submit UK Self Assessment returns or other UK tax filings.
Developed by Buhl Data Service GmbH, the programme is designed around Einnahmen-Überschuss-Rechnung (EÜR), the German cash-basis profit statement. It helps organise financial records and prepare the relevant German tax forms for business years 2025 and 2026.
What is included
WISO EÜR & Kasse 2026 combines day-to-day bookkeeping with annual tax reporting. You can record business income and expenditure, prepare an annual statement and generate useful reports. The software includes the Anlage EÜR with AVEÜR, SZE, LuF and Zinsschranke, the VAT pre-return (Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung), the annual VAT return, the trade tax return (Gewerbesteuererklärung) with Anlage EMU and the wage tax return (Lohnsteueranmeldung).
Completed returns can be transmitted to the German tax office using the official ELSTER interface. The programme supports multiple cash books, which can be maintained as a list or in the official form layout. Other tools include a driver's logbook, recurring bookings, booking templates, online banking transaction retrieval and booking, and a fixed asset register.
For accounting continuity, you can import information from the previous year, WISO Fahrtenbuch, WISO Mein Geld and other banking software. Available charts of accounts include EKR03, SKR03, SKR04, SKR03BPA for doctors and SKR03BPZ for dentists.
Licence terms and options
