To activate the subscription, visit microsoft.com/setup and sign in with the Microsoft account you want to use as the subscription owner. Enter the product key and follow the instructions on Microsoft's website to redeem it.
The subscription owner can then invite up to five additional people to share Microsoft 365 Family. Each person accepts the invitation using their own Microsoft account. They can access their included applications and their individual 1 TB OneDrive storage without sharing personal files or account settings with other members.
