Description
Everyday Office Software for Irish Homes
Whether you are preparing a Leaving Certificate assignment, putting together college notes, managing household paperwork or creating slides for a family project, Microsoft Office Home & Student provides familiar tools for everyday work. It brings three established desktop applications together in one purchase, making it suitable for Irish families, school pupils and third-level students. The licence is intended for non-commercial use at home and covers one PC.
You can select from four Office editions and receive the installation details by email. TresBizz displays the price in EUR, the local currency used by customers in Ireland, before you complete checkout.
The Essential Office Applications
The package centres on the desktop applications commonly used for written work, figures and presentations:
- Microsoft Word: Prepare essays, application letters, reports, CVs and other written material. It is useful for everything from school assignments to personal correspondence.
- Microsoft Excel: Arrange figures, create tables and maintain spreadsheets for household spending, study records, shopping lists or personal calculations.
- Microsoft PowerPoint: Turn project ideas and research into slide presentations for school, college or other non-commercial activities.
- OneNote: Included depending on the version you select.
Please note that Outlook is not part of this edition. Customers who require Outlook should consider Microsoft Office Home & Business. Microsoft 365 cloud services are not included either. This product provides classic desktop software rather than a cloud-service subscription.
Select the Right Edition
The available choices are Office 2016, Office 2019, Office 2021 and Office 2024. The default selection is Office 2024, the newest edition in this range. Microsoft markets it under the product name Office Home 2024. For most customers purchasing Office now, this is the recommended option.
- Office 2024: The current choice in this selection. Microsoft security updates continue until October 2029.
- Office 2021: Microsoft support ended in October 2026. No further security updates are provided.
- Office 2019: Support finished in October 2025, and security updates have ended.
- Office 2016: Support also finished in October 2025. This older edition is best considered where compatibility with an existing system is important.
Each option is supplied as a New perpetual licence. You pay once for use on one PC, without a subscription renewal. The permitted use is non-commercial and at home. If you intend to use Office for business activities, select Office Home & Business instead.
