Description

Everyday office software for Irish homes and businesses

From preparing business paperwork in Dublin to managing accounts for a small company in Cork or working remotely from Galway, dependable office software is part of everyday professional life. Microsoft Office 2024 Home and Business gives Irish users the familiar desktop applications needed for documents, spreadsheets, presentations and email. It is designed for people who would rather purchase their office software once than take on another recurring subscription.

This edition combines five established Microsoft applications in one perpetual licence. It is suitable for home use as well as commercial activities, making it a practical option for self-employed professionals, consultants, small business owners and people working from a home office. You install the applications directly on your own computer and can continue using them offline after the initial installation and activation.

Your five desktop applications

The package includes the 2024 desktop editions of the following applications:

• Word: Write letters, prepare reports, create business documents and edit written content.
• Excel: Work with spreadsheets, organise business information, track figures and manage budgets.
• PowerPoint: Build presentations for customer meetings, internal discussions and professional projects.
• Outlook: Handle email correspondence and manage your everyday communications.
• OneNote: Keep notes, collect information and organise ideas for work or home.

Office 2024 also brings several improvements to the desktop experience. These include a refreshed default theme, support for OpenDocument Format 1.4 and the ability to insert photographs directly from an Android phone. This is useful when you need to bring mobile photographs into documents or presentations without changing your normal desktop workflow.

Understand the licence before ordering

Microsoft Office 2024 Home and Business is sold as a one-time purchase with a perpetual licence. There is no monthly payment and no annual subscription renewal. The licence is for one device, meaning one Windows PC or one Mac. It also includes commercial use rights, so you can use the applications for professional work as well as personal activities.

• Devices: 1 PC or Mac.
• Term: Lifetime.
• Payment model: One-time purchase with no subscription.

It is important to distinguish this product from Microsoft 365. Office 2024 Home and Business does not include 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage or Microsoft 365 premium online features. Its feature set does not receive additional feature updates later. Security updates follow Microsoft's applicable product lifecycle.
