Description
A Proper PDF Editor for Your Mac
Mac users across Malta and Gozo, from Valletta law offices to students at the university in Msida, deal with PDFs constantly. Apple Preview is fine for reading a file, but it soon runs out of road when you need to rework a contract, convert a report or sign a form. Tungsten Power PDF Standard for Mac fills that gap. Built by Tungsten Automation and formerly sold as Kofax Power PDF for Mac, it brings creation, editing, conversion and digital signing together in one clean, macOS-native interface.
You do not have to give up Preview. The two sit happily side by side, and you reach for Power PDF whenever the basics are not enough.
What You Can Do
- Create: build PDFs from almost any document or file type.
- Edit and mark up: highlight text and add comments and mark-ups so changes are easy to follow.
- Convert: export to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and image formats while keeping the original layout.
- Organise pages: combine documents, split files and rearrange individual pages.
- Sign: complete forms on screen and sign them without printing.
- Protect and archive: lock files with password encryption and save them as PDF/A.
Who It Suits
At home it keeps personal paperwork, digital forms and important records in order. Students annotate reading material and pull documents together for assignments. Small offices prepare reports, letters and administrative records, or convert files before sharing them. In short, it is for any Mac user who needs more than a basic reader and prefers paying once over a recurring bill.
